Construction Administrator

Job Location: Waterford

Our client, who are one of Irelands leading Construction Companies are seeking a Construction Administrator to join their team.
The successful candidate will report to the Commercial Manager and work closely with the Quantity Surveying team. 
This role is ideal for someone with Construction experience or has recently Graduated in the field of Quantity Surveying    

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the smooth running of all projects from start to finish
  • Ensure compliance with the procedures & standards set in place
  • Responsible for project administration
  • Responsible for new project set up
  • Maintain contracts / purchase order registers
  • Administration of ERP System
  • Monitoring and upkeep of project files in accordance with ISO procedures
  • Attendance at internal meetings and recording and issuing of minutes
  • Compiling monthly reports
  • Working hand in hand with the Quantity Surveying Team.
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned by site management

Requirements:

  • 1+ years relevant professional work experience in a similar role such as QS/Architect/Engineering/ Main Contractor environments OR relevant 3rd level qualification.
  • Proficient in COINS software.
  • Proficient IT skills, particularly MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to work well and collaborate within a team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong administration and organisational skills,  
  •  Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
