Our client who are one of Ireland’s Leading Engineering Consultancy’s are currently looking to recruit an experienced MEP Revit Technician to be based in either their Galway or Castlebar offices. The ideal candidate should have experience with Revit and BIM within a multi-disciplinary design office or large contractor design office.

Responsibilities:

  • Creation of REVIT projects and associated families.
  • Attendance at design review meetings is required.
  • Drawing and model quality and version control.
  • Must have excellent time management skills and be able to work under pressure when required to achieve deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, this includes strong written and verbal (English) communication.
  • Opportunities to develop skills within other software packages such as MicroDrainage, Microsoft Access and GIS software packages such as ArcGIS and MapInfo.

Requirements:

  • Level 8 degree in Engineering or relevant discipline is required.
  • Experience with Revit and AutoCAD is essential.
  • The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • The ideal candidate must be versatile, a team player, and committed to providing the highest level of service at all times.
  • The ideal candidate must have experience in the Water and Wastewater Industry is preferable.
  • The ideal candidate must have experience in developing general arrangement coordination drawings from the feasibility stage to detailed construction stage.
  • The ideal candidate must have experience in coordination of process, mechanical, electrical, civil and structural drawings with other design team members.
